Generations of Faith
Generations of Faith
No matter the age, our parish community embraces and serves everyone
when we join together in sharing the importance of Catholic faith in our lives…
Our New Education Center opened Fall--2011! Learn more about how you can be part of this exciting project by offering your time, talent or treasure!
Stewardship-- 'We make a living by what we get; we make a life by what we give.'
Mortgage: We owe just under $2,000,000 on the mortgage for the building of the new education center. The official campaign ended in November of 2014. Realizing that a certain amount of giving fatigue has set in [The parish has been in “Capital Campaign Mode” for about 15 years], we have secured long term financing for the mortgage balance. We have refinanced our mortgage with a fixed interest rate for 10 years! We are hoping that this move, along with the continued support by you, we will be able to cash flow our $10,000 monthly mortgage payments by filling this bucket. We have set our mortgage payment goal at $15,000 per month -- offering an additional $5,000 per month to principal. Long term will save us nearly $800,000 over the course of the loan!
UCA: This is the annual contribution that all parishes are required to send to the Diocese of Duluth. If our parish is unable to collect the entire assessment we do NOT have the option to not pay the rest! When everyone makes an effort to offer some for the ‘UCA bucket’ we will not have to dip into operations to pay this assessment each December.
Operations: This is the income we receive by your generosity in envelope and plate giving, and now ‘Automatic Giving’. This is the main income stream that supports our parish operations [heat, lights, supplies, wages and maintenance]. Learn more about Automatic Giving by clicking HERE and follow the simple and easy directions for this safe giving opportunity. By using this convenient and safe online giving tool, you are able to set up recurring gifts to all 3 buckets offering our parish a stable stream of income for planning & budgeting.
Thank you for your generosity!
It is not a matter that all give equal contributions, but equal sacrifice.
